Happy Birthday Dude - Beth Duff Designs

Happy Birthday

Hello! I am back with a masculine birthday card using the Fathers Day Digi from Beth Duff Designs.

I printed the image out and die cut it using a stitched rectangle die.

I covered the dude with masking fluid so that I could create a
colorful ink smooshed background.

I used Distress Ink Oxides in Salty Ocean, Blue Print Sketch,
Lucky Clover and Faded Jeans.
I think I get a little better at this technique every time I try it. . .

Now I can peel off the masking fluid. . .
This stuff is really great!
Makes it easy to create a great single layer card. . .

I added a black base panel and since it is a masculine card I didn't put any
glitter dots or sequins but I did put a little bit of glossy accents n his monocle. . . .

Every purchase at Beth Duff Designs between now and
Sunday, June 17th, Father's Day,
will get this free Digi Father's Day Stamp Set.

Happy Birthday Star - Doodles Paper Playground

Happy Birthday Star

Stars are my absolute favorite and I love how this card turned out!

I use the new How You Bean Star add-on From Lawn Fawn for this card.
I stamped my images on water color paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color markers.

I decided on orange for my base panel.
I cut my shaker window using Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Star stackables.

I added my acetate sheet and a double layer of foam tape to my
top panel and measured out my sequins.

I decided not to use the cluster of stars that I had colored.
I placed the single stars and then added a few of the same sequins that I put in the shaker.

To finish the card I added a sentiment from the add-on set
and then added just a few more sequins.

For this card I used the Sparkle Blend Flaming Sunset

Best Dad Ever - Beth Duff Designs

Best Dad Ever

I made this great fathers day card with the digi stamp below.

Every purchase between now and Sunday, June 17th, Father's Day,
will get this free Digi Father's Day Stamp Set.

I started by printing my digi stamp and die cutting it using a stitched rectangle die form Lawn Fawn.
I choose a black polka dot paper for my base panel.

I colored the image with copic markers.

The paper that I used for my digi is kinda of off white but the dots on the polka dot paper are white.
I used the Distress ink in Antique Linen to color the edges of the paper so that they match the top panel paper better.

Then, since I did some ink blending on the base panel I decided to do some on the top panel.

I used the antique linen first,
but it really didn't make much of a difference
so I used a little bit of ground espresso.

I think it really matches the image and really give a lot of interest to the card.

I finished the card off by adding a few green and blue sequins.

All through Sunday, 5/27/2018, the entire store is buy one get one 40% off
with Coupon Code WEEKENDBUYONE

Star Shaker Gift Tags - Doodles Paper Playground

Star Shaker Gift Tags

My sister had babies. . . Twins.
Almost two years ago!
We are getting ready to attend their birthday and
wanted to make some super special
gift tags for their gifts

I used a banner die from Craftin Desert Divas for my tag shape.

I didn't have room on my tags for full names so
I just did initials with Lawn Fawns Quinns Capitol ABCs

I stuck to my star theme and used a
single small star on one of the tags.
For the other tag I used Lawn Fawn
Starry Backdrops.

Fun Part!
I used Jillibean Soup Shape Shakers to
hold my sequins for these tags.
I filled the shape shaker with sequins, removed the backing and placed my tag to cover the back.

To finish the tag I colored in the initial with matching copic markers, punched a hole in the upper corner and used some Lawn Fawn silver and white twine so that I can tie the tag to the gifts.

For this card I used the Sparkle Blend Orange You Glad and Green with Envy

Ombre Happy Birthday - Beth Duff Designs

Happy Birthday

I really like this card!
My original aim was to make some thing a little more masculine,
However this could be recreated in any color and it would be great!!

I taped down my panel so that it would not move around.
I used the circle of jewels stencil from The crafters workshop and taped it down
so it wouldn't move around on me.

I decided to do this card in blue and used these 4 colors from Lawn Fawn.
I used the makeup sponges to apply the ink and they worked great!

EEK! I don't have a lot of stencils but I love how they turn out!

I trimmed down my stenciled panel and die cut a dark blue base panel.

I heat embossed this birthday sentiment from Beth Duff Designs Lets Eat Cake .
I love how big and both this sentiment is and love the font!
It is my favorite Happy Birthday.

To finish the card off I added some crystal clear sequins from Neat and Tangled.

I love how this card turned out!
I love that I can use it for one of the guys in my life.
