He is Risen - Easter Card - Strawberry Jude Stamps

He is Risen

I love how soft and pretty this card turned out.

I used this stamp set from Strawberry Jude Stamps.
I stamped the flower several times on some watercolor paper. . .

For my back ground I used watercolor paper and did an ombre blue watercolor wash.
After it dried I stamped the sentiment in a blue ink and added it to my card base.

I decide to put the flowers in the corner,
I used white flowers on the bottom and then attached the
yellow flower with some foam tape for a little dimension.
I added a little wink of stella to the center of the flowers and then added some clear sequins.

I love how this card turned out!
I want to try it for other occasions!

Make A Wish - Doodle Paper Playgrounds

Make A Wish

I really love to make shaker cards!
This one turned out a little different than what I had originally planned on doing but it is still great!

I used the Lawn Fawn Flirty Frames Set.
I stamped on some sturdy watercolor paper and
then used the Scan-n-Cut to cut out only the inside.

I had a dragon already pre-colored from LF Critters Ever After set
so I used a sentiment from that set and a few stars.

I am doing things a little bit different on this shaker.
I created my shaker wells and put the sequins in the well.
Then I cut some backing papers for my wells.

I added the paper to the back of the wells and then also added some additional foam tape to level out the back of  the card so that it is sturdy when I attach it to the card base.

I had trimmed down my panel so I created a black base panel ad adhered it to my card base.
Because I added paper to the back of the shaker wells,
you will see the patterned paper through the shaker windows
but the black base panel on the edges.

I added my dragon to the front and a few sequins.

I used Purple Passion Sparkle Blends from Doodles Paper Playground.
I love the fimo flowers and the iridescent cup flower sequins.
This mix also has some bigger disk sequins which look  great in the shaker window!

Happy Birthday Bunny Shaker Card - Beth Duff Designs

Happy Birthday Bunny

I used this free digi stamp from the last challenge at Beth Duff Designs

I printed the image out,
colored it with copic markers and
cut them out with the Scan-n-Cut

I die cut all my pieces needed for my card.
I decided I would make it a shaker card!
These are all Lawn Fawn dies.

Time to assemble!

I added my acetate to my shaker window and
placed my grass die cut.
I also created my shaker well by adding a
double layer of foam tape.

I added my base panel to my card front,
measured out my sequins,
Melon Drop sequins from Craftin Desert Divas
and placed my shaker well on top.

To finish off the card I added my bunny and die cut sentiment to the front and added a few sequins.

Cactus Hugs - Pivot Pop Up Card - Strawberry Jude Stamps

 Cactus Hugs

I am in love with this card!

I used Lawn Fawn's Pivot Pop Up die and Stand Tall stamp set from Strawberry Jude Stamps

I started by stamping my cactus and coloring them with copic markers.
They were cut out by my Scan-n-Cut.

I had some cactus pattern paper and wash that I wanted to use to decorate the card with.
I like when the inside is layered with patterned paper while using this die,
I think it looks bare without it.

I attached my cactus to the inside panel and stamped the little hugs? sentiment.

For the front I added a plain white panel.
I used a single stripe of the washi tape and then added a few cactus.
I kept the front super simple since the inside is the real show.

I attached the pivot mechanism and then added my decorated panel.
It is easiest to decorate the panel before you attach it to the card.
Also, try to use thin paper for these so there isn't a lot of bulk inside your card.

I added some green enamel dots to the front of the card.

Ta-Da!

You Are My Sunshine -

You Are My Sunshine

The inspiration for this card comes from the sequin mix that I used. Well Yellow There from Doodles Paper Playgrounds Sparkle Blends collection. I have a hard time finding sequins that I think look yellow versus looking gold. These ones definitely look yellow and go perfectly with the Jillibean Soup - My Sunshine stamp set.

I decided to do a shaker and a slider on this card.
So after I cut out my base panel I cut out the window for my shaker and the path for my slider.

I used this die set from Lawn Fawn to create the sun for my slider.
After I layered the pieces I added a little bit of gold stickles.

I wanted to stamp my sentiment right on the window for my shaker so I used white Staz-On ink to be able to stamp on the acetate.

When I attached my window piece to the back of my card front I lined the panel up on my craft mat so that I could use the grid to make sure that my sentiment was straight.

I had originally thought about leaving the back if the card white but decided I did want some color behind my shaker to help my white words stand out. After I die cut my colored base panel I lined up my top panel and adhered the slider path negative die so that you wouldn't see the background through the slider path.

Here is my slider mechanism. I use use pennies and a piece of foam tape. I attach the foam to one of the pennies and place it in the slider path and then out the other penny on top to create a sandwich. Once my card is completely put together I can attach my sun to the penny on the outside.

I placed my sequins on the card front and added lots of double thick foam tape.

Once I got my card front on I felt like it need just a little something more so I die cut these cloud borders to add to the front. I also added a few sequins from my sparkle blends mix.

A few close up pictures. . . I love this card!
